Over 40 tertiary – level students and young professionals had the opportunity to hone their interviewing and interview readiness skills with the guidance of Eve Anderson Recruitment’s Operations Manager- Karen Trim at YoPro’s My Conference held at the Cipriani College of Labour, Valsayn.
Participants learned how it is possible, even after failing an interview, to land a job – understanding that failure does not become a reality until one gives up. Even after interview faux pas such as not researching the company beforehand; errors in attire and deportment at the interview and not having a suitable resume, participants learned through practical exercises, examples and role plays that the right mindset together with the physical and mental posture can play a meaningful role in getting the desired job.
