Temporary Accountant Resource
Our client within the Financial Sector is seeking to onboard a Temporary Accountant Resource for their POS office.

Reports To: Finance Manager
Duration: Temporary
Monthly Remuneration: TTD $11,000.00
Job Summary:
The Temporary Accountant Resource will support the Finance Department in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The incumbent will be responsible for preparing audit schedules, managing reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of the national budget package, among other financial reporting duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Audit Preparation

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis.

Compile audit files for interim and year-end audits, including schedules for all balance sheet line items.

Prepare financial statements and accompanying notes in accordance with IFRS.

Coordinate and follow up on external confirmations with financial institutions, Ministry of Finance (MoF), and legal counsel.
Accounting Operations

Prepare bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.

Review and prepare journal entries and ensure accurate postings to the general ledger.

Ensure timely and accurate calculation and remittance of taxes, including quarterly and withholding tax.

Verify the monthly reconciliation of prepayments and accruals.
Budgeting & Planning

Develop departmental templates and collaborate with Directors/Managers to gather required data.

Collate budget data into a master budget schedule.

Support the Finance Manager in the preparation of the budget package for submission to the MoF.
General Support

Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

ACCA Level II or equivalent qualification.

Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant accounting experience.
