Telemarketer/Admin Support

The Telemarketer/Admin Support will provide key telemarketing and administrative support to the Events and Brand Development and Public Affairs Units. This function will be targeted to all events, workshops, surveys and other membership services.

Salary offering: $7,000.00
Duration: Permanent

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Marketing events to its membership and the wider public in a professional manner
• Record feedback from all telemarketed events
• Track payments, refunds and registration forms for events
• Ensure that confirmed participants are in receipt of the relevant invoices pertaining to the event
• Provision of registration status on a daily basis to all stakeholders
• Reconciliation of payments after events
• Create and enhance marketing/campaign listing, apart from listing provided
• Preparation and updating of all events registration listings
• Registration of participants at all events
• Co-ordinate Post Event surveys, and collate responses and circulate to the respective Line Managers
• Assist the accounts unit from time to time with the collection of outstanding Membership Fees
• Assist with securing sponsorship for Chamber activities and initiatives
• Assist the Membership Officer with initiatives targeted to driving membership
• Assist the Membership Officer and Accounts Unit with calls targeted to collection of membership dues
• Assist the with any administrative functions associated with the deliverables of the team
• Assist with any other duties as directed by the respective Line Managers

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Strong computer skills i.e. working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Establishing and maintaining Interpersonal Relationships
• Very strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
• Must be flexible and willing to accept change
• Strong Team, Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Creative Thinking, Marketing and Problem Solving Skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
