Account Executive – Sales & Marketing

Position Summary

To be a valued, contributing member of the Company’s Sales and Marketing department in achieving the export sales targets and facilitate a reliable and timely supply of quality products from company to our key export customers.

The Account Executive is responsible for managing and serving assigned priority accounts and customers daily by providing technical assistance and advice on the assigned products and assisting with queries and complaints from customers and providing the required support to the Sales & Marketing Department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain profitable relationships with customers with a view to identifying their needs, securing orders, and maximizing customer satisfaction levels.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing annual sales budget, monthly sales forecasts & monitoring variances with actual sales for the company’s’ product.
  • Assist in production scheduling to facilitate customer’s orders and delivery requirements in accordance with plant capacity.
  • Gather market intelligence relevant to export conditions and assist in the formulation and reviewing of market strategies for the export market.
  • Assist with the design and re design of packages.
  • Actively research and identify new customers/opportunities in accordance with company’s objectives and strategies.
  • Submit weekly/monthly reports to the assigned Export Sales Manager as required.
  • Conduct any other related duties that may be assigned by the assigned Export Sales Manager/Commercial Director.
  • To comply with the Company’s/ Department’s procedures and policies belonging to the Quality Management System and the Health, Safety & Environmental Management System.
  • To fulfill the legal duties of the Occupational Safety & Health Act 2004.

Training and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Management or a suitable equivalent.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales and/or marketing in a manufacturing environment.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant software packages.

Business / Technical Skills / Core Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written).
  • Excellent Time-management, planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze and execute in a fast paced and time sensitive environment
