Here is a snippet from her speech:
“There are many people I have to thank. This prestigious award that the Chamber has graciously bestowed upon me is firstly due to God through him all things are possible. To whoever thought to nominate me, thank you. Because without your nomination I would not even be considered.
So grateful thanks to you.

No one succeeds by themselves. As they say, it takes a Village to raise a child. And that is so correct.

I had the privilege of support from my husband, parents, brothers, sisters, my extended family, my in-laws, friends, teachers, work colleagues, neighbors , mentors and spiritual directors. I hope you can identify yourself within at least one of those relationships.

The valued interactions I have had with each one of you contributed to moulding me into the person I am today and hopefully I continue to evolve, and for that I am and will always be extremely grateful.

My advice to anyone – is that our everyday conversations and interactions with each other define us. I encourage you to go out there and meet people and create your own village that can support you to become the best you can. Give your all with kindness and a genuine heart.

If I can get this award so can you! This award while received in my name really belongs to you all who sought to made me worthy to receive this recognition. Thanks again to you all and the Chamber.”
