Shop Technician /Labourer

Our client in the Energy Support Services Industry is currently seeking Shop Technician

Hourly Rate: $1268.71 GYD

Job Summary

A Shop Labourer or General Labourer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations.

Job Duties

• Dismantle tools, repair and reassemble for jobs.
• Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance and proper disposal of debris on property.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment.
• Retrieving supplies and materials, locating and verifying supplies and materials; move material to assigned location safely.
• Complete required paperwork in accordance to company policies.
• Ensure awareness of, and compliance with, relevant company/customer QHSE requirements.
• Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

• Current knowledge of equipment, materials, and practices used in the oil/gas industry.
• Complete tasks and follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner, in accordance with applicable procedures and/or work order.

Other Information:

• Days of Work:5 days a week, overtime and weekends when necessary
• Hours of Work: 8 hr days
