Sales Manager

Job Summary:

To provide support to Directors and Sales Team by marketing and securing sales for the client’s products to new and existing customers. Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided to achieve our client’s sales targets, growth, and profitability.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

SALES AND MARKETING

  1. Implement the business plan and sales strategy, generating sales of all the company’s products, ensuring scheduled visits, sales and specifications visits, and proper representation as needed to achieve sales targets.
  2. To effectively manage the sales team, and communicate and monitor goals, ensuring consistency in decision-making and effective performance management.
  3. To establish a close business relationship with all key customers on behalf of the client, to identify their needs, thus ensuring satisfaction with our products and services.
  4. To assist in the development of sales and marketing plans, strategies, and tools to secure and increase market share.
  5. To review and monitor the accounts receivable records of each customer, to establish proper credit terms and limits, as well as properly assessing new customers before approving credit terms.
  6. Monitors sales progress regularly on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, expense reports, and monthly updates with accurate and timely reports to the Directors, with sound recommendations to adjust or maintain strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  7. Maintain and service the client’s customers by providing support and the necessary technical training, arranging product seminars and presentations as required to all new and existing customers.
  8. To work with the Director providing Sales Projections/requirements to ensure proper ordering and stocking of inventory levels, to minimize stock-outs, and expired / obsolescence.
  9. Responsible for the overall performance and productivity of the sales team. Providing leadership by example, ensuring consistency and integrity in decision making, timely and effective performance management, appropriate training referrals, the development and recommendation of staff and implementation of sound disciplinary action when required.
  10. Any other duties assigned or requested from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to lead teams, coach, and mentor

Compensation:

  • Base Salary – Guy$400,000
  • Travelling Allowance – Guy$100,000
  • Company Cellphone – Guy$ 15,000

BENEFITS:

Vacation: Entitled to fifteen (15) days’ vacation on completion of one year’s full employment (applicable to the first 5 years). From year six and for each successive year, you would be entitled to twenty (20) working days. Your vacation should be taken at a mutually agreeable time and the exact dates are subject to the company’s approval.

Bonus:

Three months on achieving budget, if budgeted sales are exceeded by 20% or more a maximum of four months bonus will be paid.

Medical Insurance: Enrolled on the company’s group health plan. The company pays two-thirds (2/3) of the premium and you pay the remaining one-third (1/3).

The normal statutory guidelines apply with regard to sick leave.
