ASNT Level II Technician

Job Summary:

Set up and calibrate equipment and interpret and evaluate results with respect to codes, standards and specifications.

Job Duties:

  1. Perform specific calibrations, specific tests, and specific evaluations according to written instructions.
  2. To liaise with other Technicians and Inspectors to resolve any technical problems or issues that may arise on the job
  3. Ensure the all QMS, HSE and HR policies are adhered to
  4. Any other related duties

HSE Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To know and understand the company’s HSE policies and all relevant legislation.
  • To provide information and instructions to employees in order to ensure the effective implementation of the HSE program.
  • To ensure that all company HSE policies are enforced.
  • To ensure that all accidents/ incidents are reported as outlined in the Accident/ Incident reporting and Investigation policy.
  • To ensure that all accidents are investigated and analyzed as outlined in the Accident/ Incident reporting, investigation and analysis policy.
  • To ensure that Upper management has reviewed all accidents/incident reports and investigations.
  • To identify hazards and advise all employees of any potential or actual dangers and how to isolate, prevent or remove them.
  • To exercise right to stop work in unsafe conditions as indicated in Company Refusal of Unsafe Work and Stop Work Program.
  • To conduct regular inspections of the work place to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • To attend all environment, health and safety meetings as stipulated in the HSE policy.
  • To be held accountable for all HSE performance.
  • To agree not to violate any applicable Anti-Bribery Laws.
  • To adhere to adequate procedures designed by the Company or its Clients, to prevent yourself or any associated person from engaging in any activity which would constitute an offence under the Prevention of Corruption Act if it were carried out in Trinidad and Tobago.
  • To understand that a breach of any of the provisions listed above shall be considered a breach of your roles and responsibilities and entitles Company to proceed with disciplinary action immediately.

Job Requirements:

  • 3 O’Levels (including English) or Completion of Secondary Education or equivalent or Demonstrated Proficiency
  • Computer Literate
  • Completion of Level II Exam (SNT-TC-1A) Certification by attaining a composite grade of at least 80% in each Specified Examinations. (Training done by the Company)
  • Drivers License will be an asset

Salary: $500.00 USD monthly based on an eight hour week (Mon to Fri 7am to 4pm) with the potential to work overtime hours. Weekends X 1.5 (time and a half), Public Holidays X 2 (double time)
