Job Summary

We offer the most flexible HR and Recruitment solutions to fit your business’ needs in Guyana. We are seeking a Purchase Clerk to work for one of our clients within the Distribution Industry.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sourcing vendors to satisfy purchasing needs
- Obtaining 3 quotations for all purchases
- Preparing PO’s
- Preparing XG1’s (approval forms to send to Trinidad)
- Establishing credit lines with various vendors
- Hotel and vehicle bookings for guests and export reps
- Following up on cash allowances for export rep
- Following up on outstanding information as it relates to insurance claims
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Garage inventory count and reconciliation
- Gain/loss on handling reconciliation
- Other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
- 2 years’ experience in purchasing and accounting.
- Pursuing Level 2 CAT certification or equivalent qualification

WORK SCHEDULE
- Standard 40 hours schedule (Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 4:30 pm) and 1 Saturday in each month.
