Outside Sales Representative
JOB SUMMARY:
The position will play a key role in pursuing opportunities with our existing customer base as well as seeking to expand the company’s customer base of the Guyana office. The Sales Representative assists the Office Manager and Team Leader Utility and Industrial Caribbean Region to meet and exceed Sales targets for the country while ensuring the maintenance of quality customer care and support. The position is also responsible for business development within the company, with an aim of increasing customer acquisition and achieving revenue growth targets through competitive and innovative approaches. The position reports to the Managing Director and supports the operations of the other Directors in the Company.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales oversight:
· Using various sales methods (customer visits, cold calling, presentations, etc) to promote the Company’s portfolio of electrical products
· Evaluate customers’ needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
· Meet personal and team objectives
· Generate or follow through sales leads
· Achieve growth and hit sales targets
· Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
· Report and provide feedback to management
· Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
· Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
· Attend site visits for projects
· General promotional activities
· Assist in Business Development within Guyana
· Assist in Preparation of quotations and proposals

Academic Qualifications and Experience:
• Diploma in Business Management, Business Administration or a related field or any equivalent combination of training and experience
• EEET or any other similar electrical diploma will be an asset.
• Minimum of 3 – 6 years relevant sales experience in a similar capacity
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Certification and experience in Project or Time Management is considered an asset
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and MicroPay
• Possession of own vehicle will be an asset.
