Customer Relationship Manager

Job Description:

The Customer Relationship Manager will have the responsibility of managing accounts and generating sales according to pre-defined targets. They must report to the Sales Manager and Senior Management. They will also be responsible for identifying and developing customer relationships, and new sales opportunities and creating strategic plans to achieve maximum revenue potential.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Meet sales quotas as specified.
  • Use CRM to document and assess weekly sales objectives.
  • Ensure accurate data recording and tracking, particularly within CRM.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, prioritizing activities, and managing time commitments to move priority opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Prospect and qualify new potential customers through cold calls, referrals, and relationship-building.
  • Manage ongoing account service, develop new sales opportunities, and seek referrals.
  • Conduct technology planning meetings with clients for upgrades and enhancements.
  • Solicit feedback to enhance client service quality.
  • Complete sales paperwork promptly, accurately, and thoroughly.
  • Facilitate a smooth knowledge transfer to relevant departments upon closing sales.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Foster strong working relationships with clients, understanding their needs and making decisions in partnership with them.
  • Follow procedures for organized and punctual sales functions.
  • Take ownership of issues with professionalism and control.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in the company’s core technology offerings.
  • Quickly adapt to and learn about new technologies and products.
  • Cultivate relations within the local business community to better meet client needs.
  • Attend conferences, workshops, and complete sales certifications.
  • Promote services through conventions, trade shows, and public relations efforts.
  • Host customer webinars and create engaging presentations.
  • Report issues or incidents to your manager promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Fulfill any other duties assigned by Management

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years corporate sales experience in the Information Technology, Telecommunications, or other relevant industries
  • Successful sales track record required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of information and records.
  • Personal qualities should include motivation, maturity, proactivity, goal orientation, and drive.
  • High integrity and professionalism in demeanor, attire, and presentation are expected.
  • Ability to build strong business relationships through charisma.
  • Should be adaptable to both independent work and teamwork.
  • Able to perform effectively under pressure, with problem-solving, self-motivation, and organizational skills.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and creativity.
  • Detail-oriented, pays keen attention to accuracy.

Special Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work extended hours, and weekend support and remain flexible in the event of emergencies or other business requirements.
